MVRV is a simple ratio to measure network value using a novel metric for traditional market cap called Realised Cap. MVRV = Market Cap / Realised Cap. It can be useful for getting a sense of when the exchange traded price is below “fair value” or even as an indicator for potential cycle tops and bottoms.
